The cover struck me first of all. The scene is set very clearly but the simple but effective cover doesn't really give anything away and keeps you guessing and hungry for more.
I am really intruigued to read this book and discover more as I do enjoy a good thriller and like to be kept on the edge of my seat. This will be the first thriller I've read which has a Scandinavian backdrop - a culture which I find extremely intruiging - and I have always enjoyed the Scandinavian detective TV shows in recent years. The snippets on the front cover giving an inkling about the plot have left me ready to dive in and learn more.
