I chose this book because I liked the scene where it was set, a forest town in Sweden. I thought that the isolation would add to the tension of the thriller.

I loved Stina Jackson's writing style and thought that the story flowed well, told through two different character's points of view and with a dual timeline.

You really got to feel empathy for many of the characters in the story and grew to like them even though they weren't the 'conventional' nice characters.

The author kept you guessing up until the end who had 'done it', giving lots of different characters possible motives.

One thing that I liked that about the book is that there were a number of questions left unanswered but actually I think that that adds more to the mystery of it all and the fact that you don't know, maybe you can hope for a different answer to what the story has you to believe.

I would definitely read more by this author.
