What a beautifully descriptive opening to this book. The characters are written so intricately that you can’t help but find yourself being pulled into the story.
This is a brand new author for me and so I’m even more interested to see what happens within this book.
The cover is striking and enticing and the setting of the story is perfect! What mystery’s lie within the crisp, white snow filled world?! This is exactly the kind of book I would usually pick up at a bookstore. I like the authors style of writing. I felt it was well paced and the characters were introduced in such a way that you can’t help but feel like you need to know more about them. I always try to suss these stories out early on as I am so innately curious so I am desperate to read more of this story and see exactly where the author wants to take us within this world. A great start to this book!
