Whilst I found the book fairly descriptive I thought the plot was slow burning ( which does appeal to some people) but I found myself really struggling to finish the book. From reading the first look and the blurb I was left slightly dissapointed upon finishing the book. I think the first few pages are the highlight of the book and then following on from there it seemed to slowly decline.I found the characters slightly complicated and the lives of Liv etc hard to follow which definately took away from the book and properly added to the overall reluctance to finish
I found the cover really interesting and gripping- also very fitting for the book overall. The accurate intense description of the Swedish surroundings and landmarks made them develop into their own character and you could easily imagine yourself there submersed into the action
