This novel on first appearance seemed right up my street - just the sort of novel I normally read however it was very slow to get anywhere and was easily put down. It definately was not an edge of your seat page turner !! This was a shame as the actual plot of the story was really good. It was an okay read - it was not bad or really boring but was also definately not a page turner. I haven,t read anything from this author before and although I am not saying I wouldn,t read another book from this author I wouldn,t make a point of looking for this author. The people in the book didn,t really pull you in and didn,t really make you feel anything for them. I liked the fact it was set in Sweden and you did get a little bit of a feel of how isolated some communities can be in Sweden, Norway etc .... This was not enough for me to give a better review / score for this novel.
