This book was okay but I felt like it could have given a lot more. The cover and the blurb enticed me but I found the full story a bit average. I wouldn't say that I didn't enjoy it but I also wasn't gripped and desperate to know what was going to happen next.
Whilst I did want to know who murdered Vidar, I found that nothing really happened in general and the book could have been at least half as long and not really lose anything. I didn't really click with many of the characters and only really felt like I supported one or two of them.
However, overall I would say I still enjoyed it in general. I particularly liked Liam's character and was rooting for him to come out of the story in a good place. I would recommend this book for people who have exhausted their to be read pile, but I wouldn't recommend that they put it at the top of their future reads list.
