Firstly wow, I was hooked from the beginning with this book. I knew I was going to love it when it was based in Sweden. This absolutely did not disappoint. I was hooked right from the beginning. This is definitely one of my top reads in 2021.

Filled with a lot of pathetic fallacy, for me, the icy weather and Liv's relationship, icy and cold. Why does she stay with this man, I kept asking myself throughout.

I felt it was quite graphic in places, not overly for me but for other readers, may find it quite hard. I loved how easy it was to read the book - although a difficult read in places, still very good.

This is my first book from Stina Jackson and it most certainly won't be my last. Jackson has a way of writing and making it seem effortless. I enjoy the play on words in some areas of the book.

I'm so greatful to have won this book on Netgalley for an honest review. I can't wait to read more from Stina Jackson. I am very intrigued.
