What I liked about this straight away is the intriguing premise. Earth is about to be destroyed and the last escape ships are leaving. Petra is a young girl leaving with her family. You feel instantly drawn to her, her sadness at leaving her familiar world and the fears of being not good enough to carry on her Lita’s gift of telling stories. I’m intrigued to read the rest of the story.
