From both the title and the first look is it apparent that storytelling will be a huge theme in this book. However the first look didn’t reveal many clues as to its significance to the plot so I’m curious to read on to find out. I enjoyed the references to Mexican culture and the inclusion of Spanish and would definitely be intrigued to discover more about the culture through this book.
I love the cover of this book as I feel the bright colours and bold patterns hint to the Latin-American influences of this book whilst also being eye catching and not giving too much away about the plot.
