This is not my usual genre at all but I am so glad I got to read this beautiful story.
Earth is about to be destroyed by a meteor and only a select few can be saved. Petra and her family have made the cut although not her grandmother.
Those chose will go into stasis until they reach a new planet in over 300 years time. Then they will use their selected skills to rebuild a safe environment.
When Petra awakes she finds all us not well and she is the only person who still remembers Earth.
Petra longs to be a storyteller, just like her grandmother. Can she achieve her dream? Can she find anyone else who remembers Earth? Can she find her family?
