The book was a lot of fun! I especially really liked the main character, Petra who was very inspirational and kind of reminded me of me at a that age - rebellious and funny. Considering she was a teenager she showed a lot of courage. The book was very different from what I expected - it is inspirational at times and sad at times but overall it is a story of hope and will power. I think this book would be a great addition to the middle school literature class and would make a great read for someone around that age. I also really liked the book cover- it is so unique and fun and captures the plot of the book brilliantly. I liked how the author mentions the power of story telling - it really is a skill and is important. So in a nutshell, the book is mainly about a girl called Petra whose family has been chosen to travel to a new planet when Earth gets destroyed by a comet. On the ship though, things don't go as planned and Petra has a lot of saving to do - the book is about how she tells stories to save people.
