I'm a bit bummed out with this one, I was super looking forward to read it and the story just didn't hold my interest for long enough. It came across as a fairly boring tale despite having high hopes after reading the first couple of chapters. This had so much potential with a great concept of an idea but just not great enough unfortunately.
Petra Pena and her family are one of the chosen few families lucky enough to be saved from Earth and transported to a new planet, Sagan, where they will start again and continue to keep the human race alive. Once on board the space ship she and her family are put into pods and sent to sleep, to be woken hundreds of years later. When Petra is woken she finds that her family are missing and her companions have had their memories wiped. Something must have malfunctioned with her pod because Petra can remember everything from before....
