I've really enjoyed reading The Last Storyteller. It wasn't quite what I was expecting and was abit more sci-fi-y than I got from the blurb. It gave me real Matrix vibes at the start when it was based on a space ship moving planets where people are kept alive for 100s of years in a tank covered in goop - you know what I mean. I was also slight dubious of the main characters all being teenagers - yes I know they've slept for 100s of years and have had 'the knowledge' fed to them during this time but realistically how are they able to save the world. I guess that's YA for you.

I enjoy the premise and the stories. I found it easy and enjoyable to read and I flew through it in a couple of days. HOWEVER it seemed to skip through time quite a lot and potentially some fairly crucial factors of moving planets were missed out (however this could make for a very big book). Its interesting and enjoyable and I'm glad I read it.
