Whilst not my genre of choice, I can totally appreciate that this is a really unique story. I think there’s some really detailed characters and a good plot.
It centres around a girl named Peter who loves to tell stories and the a storyteller like her abuelita. But, her world as she knows it is ending. Earth is going to be destroyed by a comet but only a few hundred scientists and their children have been chosen to journey to the new planet. These are the ones that must carry on the human race.
Later, Petra wakes up to this new planet and the discovery she is the only one who remembers Earth. What will happen? Can she save the memories and tell the stories?
It’s down to Petra to carry the stories of the past and to secure hope for the future. Can she do it? Can she make them live again? She’s a great character with a great plot behind her.
Overall, an enjoyable book for sure.
