A good read about Sarah, who's in a comma due to a head injury.
I like the way the book winds towards the finish where we find out who and how.
The characters go between Sarah and Kelly, a rough-n-tough teenager who had become her friend. I found Kelly a bit grating - her tough girl attitude and constant swearing - but really liked Sarah.
This would be a difficult book to write and I think Deborah Bee did a great job of it.
I thought I knew what was going to happen and what the mystery was but there was a great twist at the end which completely threw me. Not the ending I expected but one I enjoyed.
Gave this book 3 stars because there were parts I enjoyed ie the ending but at times I had to really push myself to keep reading.
