One of the main points about this book that I loved is the language change between the characters, Sarah and Kelly. From the perspective of Sarah, she's confused, panicked, and completely lost. What is brilliant is that the author shows detail and information of the storyline and of other characters through Sarah's rediscovery of her surroundings and loved ones, this definitely puts the reader in a similar state to Sarah, which makes her a much more relatable and understanding character. However, the author, for Kelly, uses quite an aggressive language for her, who is quite annoyed and bitter at everything in a sense. By using swear words for Kelly, it actually shows a lot about Kelly as a character and also makes her relatable as a character. I love how the author made the characters opposites yet similar in a way. The style of writing was gorgeous.
