I was initially interested by the concept presented by this book. I love psychological storylines, and the idea of a main character with amnesia in a coma was very interesting. However, I found the writing a little slow; there was a lot of detail and a lot of writing about not much at all. Plus, establishing basic facts about the characters and story was difficult, which for me made it harder to stay captivated by what was going on. I think this could be a good book to read nonetheless; I’d be interested to discover the final story of how everything happened once all the fluff was out the way - I just didn’t feel like I had the patience to stick it out through the more slowly moving writing to get there.
