Wow! So many issues going on in this story! Love the style of writing, how each chapter alternates between the two main characters.
Sarah is in a coma, she is what they call "locked in", can't see or move or feel, but she can hear everything going on around her. Unfortunately she can't remember how she got there.
Kelly is Sarah's neighbour. At fourteen she thinks she knows it all, and maybe she does, but she isn't about to tell the police that, right? What Kelly does know is that Sarah needs to wake up pretty damn quick before the brown stuff hits the fan!
Really good story, the book unravels at just the right pace, highlighting sensitive subjects in a sensitive manner. I would definitely recommend giving this one a go!
