This story has potential although the subject matter is a bit macabre especially for those readers who are approaching the time when they will be dealing with the deaths of their parents in real life.
Not sure I like any of the characters so far but, having read 2 of Caroline Bond’s previous books, I’m sure that will come as I read further into the story.
