A distinguished, yet unwell, gentleman attends his solicitor to update his will as he's terminally ill and knows he doesn't have long to live.
After his death, the solicitor is tasked with telling his children and partner the contents of the will. The children appear to be very different and don't get on that well with each other. They have to decide how to distribute their father's assets, and the partner hasn't been mentioned in the will at all.
I think this will be an interesting book as the family dynamics could be quite dramatic, and I'm curious to know what the outcome will be.
It's well written and easy to read. I normally prefer a thriller or crime novel but I would read this.
