This seems to happen quite a lot in reality. People leave it until they're very ill, or in this case already passed, and then expect family members to gather around and fix all their differences. But just because the deceased person wishes it, doesn't mean it's always possible. That's what's happening in this book, only the person's involved have an incentive - money! I wonder if it'll be enough for them to fix their problems, or just create more?
