At first I thought this wouldn’t really be my thing but reading the first impression changed my mind. I liked how all the characters are introduced quite quickly because of the pace was too slow it could have ended up being boring. I also enjoyed the setting, I generally like books set in small coastal towns as you get so see the beautiful natural landscapes alongside the story. It definitely feels like there is a deeper mystery and meaning to Jonathan’s last actions and will and I think it will be interesting to see how different characters, especially those closer to him, navigate their mixed feelings, on one hand dealing with their loss and on the other dwelling on the absurdity and frustration cause by his last wishes. In short, it looks intense but probably worth the read!
