This was a strong opening, bringing you into the story straightaway without too much scene-setting. In the space of a few short chapters we have an overview of quite a cast of characters - a lawyer, 3 siblings, a partner, an ex-wife, a carer, and of course, the deceased. It would be interesting to read on and see how things pan out - I doubt it'll be a quick and amicable resolution...
