I enjoyed reading this book. I felt like I very much got what I expected from this book after reading the synopsis.
The legacy explores family dynamics between siblings, as well as the fraught relationship with their step-mother following a death in the family. The three siblings each lead very different lives, and this leads to a very different relationship between each of them and their father as well as different expectations after his death. I enjoyed getting to know each character as they developed throughout the book.
The writing style made the book flow well and I enjoyed the short snappy chapters.
I only rated this book three stars because despite enjoying it, it unfortunately did leave me wanting a bit more. I did find the storyline fairly predictable and would have liked maybe a bit more mystery or a bit of a twist.
Overall I would still recommend reading The Legacy.
