' a death in the family
rarely brings out the best
in people - even the deceased...'

After Jonathan's death, his family meet up to hear his will reading. His three adult children: Liv, Noah and Chloe learn that they must decide between them how to dispose of his estate. If they can't agree, they will lose the inheritance.

Caroline Bond's writing style is simply brilliant and flows through so beautifully. The complexity of each characters are explored well and as you read along you'll understand Jon's reasons for his final request and his complex instructions.

I throughly enjoyed this book. There were no big twists but there are a few that made it special. What I most liked about the book is that it explored indepth about family bonds, emotions and relationships. There were many occasions I felt related to characters and did feel a little emotional.

This is the first book I've read by Caroline Bond. I have ordered her One Split Second. I can't wait. I have given this book a 5⭐
