I really enjoyed reading this book. It has been written very well and is a powerful, emotional and moving book about death and grief. The story also highlighted real life scenarios people go through when having a life long illness. or from losing a loved one

Following the death of Jonathon Coulter from MND, his 3 children, Chloe, Noah and Liv are left to decide how to divide the estates of his will. Each of the 3 siblings are very different and struggle to get along.

The story follows Chloe, Noah and Liv as they return back to their family home try to come to a decision on who they will resolve their father's will but they encounter many problems along the way. No one can seem to understand why Jonathon didn't divide his estate amongst his family himself and why new partner Megan was excluded from the will.

The plot line was very interesting. We see how grief can also lead to greed when it comes to the money.

Of the children Liv is the most organised and sensible child, Noah kept thinking selfishly and Chloe, who always had support kept thinking about how the money could help her. But nobody ever thought about Megan and the pain she was going through after losing the man she loved, Jonathon. I really felt sorry for Megan as nobody seemed to acknowledge her presence, even though Jonathon's children were dealing with the will in the home she was living in.

I thought this was a beautiful book which I would definitely recommend to others. I am keen to read more by this author, Caroline Bond.
