I really enjoyed this book due to its complexities and the many themes present that slowly unravelled to reveal the story. It is about 3 children who are always disputing and how they have to come together in order to carry out their father's peculiar way of gaining their inheritance. At a time where they are grieving the loss of their father, they allow their true thoughts and feelings to be revealed. The atmosphere is full of tension as they navigate their way through this story and see if they are able to come to an agreement over who should get their fathers belongings. The already existing strain on this family is deepened when they find out of their fathers secrets and wonder why this information was never shared with them. All this anger, confusion and grievance makes for a very becoming book which I would rate four stars out of five.
