Time flew by as I was reading this, it was so enjoyable. It focuses on three siblings trying to sort out their late father's legacy, after his mysterious request that they reach a decision together or it all goes to charity. I loved that each of the siblings had a secret troubling them. They were each so distinct and well defined. This, coupled with the expert balance between their perspectives, gave the book a clarity that made it an easy read.

My favourite was Chloe, because her growth as a character emerged so organically from the main plot and the dynamics between the three siblings.

The story is definitely more driven by the tension between the siblings than the mystery of the father's will. But I still enjoyed the scenes with the father and I admired the strength and assertiveness of the people that cared for him when he was ill, and I thought the topic of caring was addressed very sensitively.

I found the positioning of Noah's reveal right at the end uncomfortable. But I think that once you get over the shock you can see more clearly what the real legacy is through the other characters' responses. And the way the characters respond to each other was the most enjoyable part of this book. The siblings wind each other up in such a believable way! They are so different and it really does seem impossible that they will be able to make any kind of choice that isn't rooted in their issues with each other and themselves. I loved reading about them!
