Jonathan Coulter left his wife Eloise and three children, Chloe, Liv and Noah and set up home with another woman. They all feel agrieved which is understandable but they are shocked when a time later they are notified their father has died and that the children who are grown up are the beneficiaries in his will. Instead of naming a list of items or monies for each child to inherit Jonathan has left a specific set of instructions. These must be followed in order for them to get anything. The children meet up for a weekend in the home they lived in with their mother and father when they were children, no doubt a plot by their father to help them rekindle memories of their childhoods. The children must try to get along and split the contents but they are also left with the task of deciding if anything should go to their mother Eloise or to the woman he left them all for , Megan.
