I was torn about giving this book 3 or 4 stars but I've settled on 3.

When Jonathon Coulter becomes ill, he makes very specific instructions and plans for his will. Leaving his 3 children as the sole executors, they must decide how to split his wealthy estate, and what about their mother and Jonathons partner?

I think it's a great book with a unique storyline, and Caroline's style of writing is wonderful. The story is told fluently and the character development is spot on. I think the downfall for me was that in parts it felt a bit flat and I wasn't rushing to pick it back up again.

The family dynamic- classic sibling rivalry but to the extreme; the new lover and the ex-wife being forced into a situation where they share a common ground, and the added family pressures within their own families, all fit the story perfectly together.

Some parts of the book were heavier than I anticipated which did pull me back into it, my emotions were all over the place by the end!

Overall it was a good book and if you're into family orientated books I think you will love this one and rate it higher than I did.
