I received this book to review early. The idea definitely intrigued me but having read nothing from the author before I wasn’t sure how well it was going to be executed. I think Caroline did a good job of character building. Books with 4+ characters I often struggle to keep up but I think the characters were really well fleshed out. Grief is something that everyone deals with differently and it was interesting to see this portrayed in the characters. For me to love it, I think I would have liked to see more happen in the book, but how much can you talk about someone dying and their legacy?
I did however love learning about the characters who are dealing with the grief and how different personalities can be affected. The different ways the characters reacted made the story that much more interesting to follow and more enjoyable to read. This was a good read
