Alison Smith is called back to Ireland to face the man she ran away from. Her ex and convicted serial canal killer. He has evidence that may help with the current murders that are happening similar to his or but will only speak to Alison. Can she go back and just what does he have to tell her.
This was quite the gripping, page turning read. It's not the most dramatic but the build up is very good. I liked the flashback to the past. The big scene with the killer was good but seemed a little rushed. The ending was good too and a clever twist that really tied up the whole story.
I really liked Alison, you go through every emotion with her. She goes through an awful lot but you see her strength shining through. I liked Malone too and his fight for the truth.
