It was interesting to read the case from the point of view of the girlfriend of the killer and how the case changed her life and her personality, she is afraid to trust people and is always scared that anyone could recognise her… She has some remorse of how she acted after knowing the police was investigating her boyfriend and how her actions could have shifted the case to one ending or another. But she is not ready to believe he is innocent, even if the police is not sure about it. There were some infractions during the investigation, but he confessed the killing… The police will have to take a deep look to the case, and thanks to Alison’s perspective they will discover some clues that were left unobserved in the past, but ready to be seen now!
This is a quick read, the case is interesting, but what kept me glued on the book was Alison’s story and trying to discover who is the real killer! Be prepared for a twisted book, with a human side and some very interesting characters.
