Alison is persuaded to leave her self imposed exile in The Hague to return to Dublin to help the police investigate a spate of murders that bear a similarity to murders that her boyfriend, Will, was alleged to have committed ten years before.
This book is slightly odd in in its layout in the sense that it takes the main characters perspectives over a ten year period and switches back and forth between them. I was initially put off by this but found that it added to the tension of the story as each layer of the mystery was peeled back and the story kept you guessing to the end.
Overall however this book is an enjoyable read with characters that evolve as you progress through the book and the story keeps you hooked.
