The characters are well drawn and draw the reader into the novel.
Alison Smith was studying at University in Dublin and enjoying herself dating Will. Will was arrested on charges of attempted murder and Alison flees to Den Hag
Ten years later another murder is committed and the police want Wills help but he will only speak to Alison.
Alison reluctantly returns to Dublin.
The book alternates between Alison then and now.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it highly as an intelligent piece of crime fiction.
