Light and bright and a breath of fresh air. On first impressions, this book looks so fun and inviting. The central flower divides the page up nicely, and the bee adds a touch of quirky character. I like the roots and bulb in the soil as a learning point, but also to balance the page into above and below ground. A fly watering the plants made me smile, it isn't taking itself too seriously, as a gardener and lover of illustration I want to see more.
