An interesting start to this book - an adult Biddy waiting to call into a tv show about her problems with bullying in the past. From the small mentions, you begin to wonder what happened to poor Biddy, and in chapter 2 the arrival of Alison begins to explain it.
I am already fond of Biddy, and felt the pain with her when her problems began, and straight away feel wary of Alison. Again just in the first chapter there are snippets of information to suggest Alison has quite a past.
The characters seem well written, there was enough to get me interested straight away but to keep me guessing, and I'm intrigued to see what becomes of Biddy. It feels like there is much more to come! A great beginning can't wait to read more!
