I really liked the cover art and I was excited to read the preview for this book. There was something Jodi Picolt and Celeste Ng like about the story, but ultimately it did not grip me from the initial read. It feels a little cliched- with the small town cop, absent husband and nosy neighbours. I don’t think I will loose sleep over not knowing how this will end...
