The story is set in the summer of 1959 in California. Frank and Joyce Haney, a happily married couple have two daughters Lily and Barbara. Frank is away on business, and when Ruby the hired help arrives at five o’clock one afternoon she finds the children alone, and blood on the kitchen floor. Joyce has gone missing - but what’s happened? Has she been abducted? Murdered? I can’t wait to find out more...
