The first thing I liked straight away from reading the first few pages of the book was how descriptive the opening was, this allowed me to really visualise the setting and connect with the character from the off.
Another aspect of this book I like is the stream of consciousness in the writing allows you to read as the character and gain a sense of who they are and what is going on in their head.
I would definitely read this book and I also like that it is set in the 1950s.
