Ok let's first get the elephant out of the room that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. So true here. That cover doesn't match the tone of the book at all. But what I book it is already shaping up to be in just the first few chapters.
Particularly in that first chapter the imagery was on point.
I'd love to read more of this and find out what has happened. Because this was a great and gripping start.
