The first impression I got from the cover, was it was quite eye catching and bright. I did not think it would be a mystery book. When having a read though, the book was very gripping and right from the start you knew that something was going to happen to the mother, but what happened and where is she? that is the mystery that needs to be solved. It is definitely a book that you want to read to the end to find out what happens to Joyce Haney.
