The heat and oppressive atmosphere contained in Inga’s writing is so tangible that I felt transported back to 1959. Her period detail and the way she describes her characters is remarkable. All her characters appear flawed in some way or other, making this an intriguing, beguiling and fast paced read. Loved it!
