The initial few pages almost had me stopped reading, so boring. Thankfully it got more interesting once the help turned up to the house and discovered the children who had been left along, one of whom was trying to mop up blood. But no sign of the mother anywhere. The police arrest the help instantly, racist America - she was black and discovered the body so she must have done it. The Detective who turns up thankfully doesn't seem to share those same racist beliefs so hopefully there is some saviour for her and she doesn't end up suffering more for just trying to help.
