The switch from first-person POV to third-person after the first chapter was a great choice, most of all when we discover whose POV the first-person one was. At first, the reader feels like they're part of the scene whilst later they just feel like a spectator, and that sets an appropriate mood for a thriller.

I really like Ruby, one of the main characters. She's the kind of character that feels real and not the one with steel nerves and unrealistic reactions during tense moments.

The cover doesn't have a thriller vibe, which makes it effect quite chilling. You don't know what dark stories might be hidden behind a 'perfect' scenery/image.

The writing doesn't feel very suspense-charged, so the mystery feels mild for now. I'm very excited to see where it's headed, though.
