From the first few chapters, I can tell this will be an interesting read. It's very well written, and pulls you in immediately.
The story changes points of view, and in the first few chapters we are introduced to three different characters; Joyce, a mother of two, Ruby, the hired help and Mike, a police detective.
What intrigued me about this was the first chapter. We got snippets of information from Joyce, which made me think there's a lot more to these characters, and a lot more to this story.
