Love the 1950's
The cover of this book is so inviting, it is a typical 1950's American kitchen and want to be invited in to enjoy "fresh apple pie and cawffee".
However, it seems all is not well behind the façade and I love the mentions of the ways in which women everywhere are diminished, silenced and ultimately under-estimated. This book is the sort that all women and young girls should be reading and I would consider it an honour to read and review this beautiful book.
