I have to be honest, based on the cover alone, I wouldn't have been tempted to pick this book up. I love crime and thrillers but this didn't jump out to me as a book I would normally read so I probably would have missed out. After reading the first look, I was pleasantly surprised by the story and the writing and would actually love to read on.
