From a first glance at the cover, I assumed this book was yet another cosy romance. However when looking closer, you start to see something a bit more creepy and out of place - blood on the floor. This is also how the story seems to be playing out, just another simple family tale until... Murder happens! It reminds me a bit of the film Pleasantville, just a bit unsettling.
