From the first moment i saw the cover of this book I was drawn in. Such a lovely bright scene that leads you to believe it a happy household only for you look closer and see the broken plate, the knife and what looks like blood On the cupboard door.
I really enjoyed the excerpt and actually knew I would enjoy the book right after reading the opening sentence.
